The Guild is one of India’s pioneering non-profit voluntary organizations dedicated to social welfare and community development. Founded in Delhi, it has been working for decades to improve the lives of women, children, and vulnerable communities, focusing on women’s empowerment, children’s education, family counselling, and community support across North India.

Our History

The Guild, founded in 1972, is a national NGO in India focused on women's empowerment, education, and rehabilitating disadvantaged groups like widows. Currently led by Ms. Meera Khanna, who serves as its President, it runs educational programs, shelters, and skill development centers, and holds consultative status with the UN. Over the years, the Guild extended its work to Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, addressing unique challenges in each region, especially for underprivileged women and children.
